Christopher J. Keating

Chris Keating joined Malamut & Associates in 2021, bringing with him expertise in a wide-range of plaintiff-side litigation and government investigations. Chris has spent his career fighting for the underdogs in our legal system in matters of employment law, consumer fraud, and personal injury matters. At the Firm, Chris focuses on plaintiff-side litigation in the areas of employment law, civil rights, False Claims Act and qui tam, and catastrophic injuries and wrongful death matters.

An experienced advocate, Chris has argued before New Jersey’s Appellate Division and Supreme Court and has tried bench and jury trials to verdict. A former Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Chris has prosecuted and secured convictions against unscrupulous employers who steal wages from their employees and knowingly expose their employees to dangerous working conditions in violation of state and federal laws. While at Seton Hall Law, Chris won the law school’s moot court competition after arguing the final round before United States Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor.
