Annmarie Jensen is a New Jersey and New York licensed trial attorney with more than 25 years’ experience, who concentrates her practice in the areas of Family Law and Mediation. She has earned two distinguished qualifications as a Mediator. In 2014, pursuant to NJ Sup. Ct. Rule 1:40, she earned the designation of Qualified Family Mediator. Preceding that, in 2011, Annmarie earned the designation of Qualified Civil Mediator pursuant to NJ Sup. Ct. Rule 1:40. Annmarie is also a collaboratively-trained divorce professional. Annmarie’s cooperative, dignified approach to family matters finds its origin in her completion of an around-the-world travel-study research grant that she was selected for as an undergraduate student. With a generous grant from the Circumnavigator’s Club Foundation, She traveled for two and a half months to six different countries to compare and contrast peaceful conflict resolution policies and approaches.

Annmarie earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law-Newark in 1996, where she was elevated to the level of Technical Editor for the Women’s Rights Litigation Reporter law journal. Annmarie also served as research and writing assistant to the director of a litigation clinic at Rutgers and traveled to New Orleans and New York representing the school in Appellate Moot Court competitions. Annmarie previously earned her B.B.A. cum laude with a double major in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of Miami Honors Program. She is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the State of New York and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Annmarie joined Malamut Law in November of 2018.
