Gerard Green, Jr.

Gerard Green focuses his practice on the defense of New Jersey Workers’ Compensation claims and associated employment issues on the behalf of employers, insurance companies, third party administrators, the self-insured, and public entities.

Before joining MalamutLaw as an attorney, Mr. Green was a law clerk in the firm’s Government and Regulatory Affairs Department.

While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Green clerked for the Center for Social Justice in Newark, New Jersey where he assisted with Veterans’ Affairs issues as well as Wills and Estates matters. He was also a member of the Black Law Students Association and received the Luigi Franzese Scholarship Award in recognition of academic excellence, outstanding leadership, and service to the community.

Prior to joining MalamutLaw, as an attorney, Mr. Green also served as an intern for a well-known law firm working with the Newark Housing Coalition. The Coalition served as legal support to assist Newark residents facing eviction.

Mr. Green received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University- New Brunswick.
